What’s in a Name?

Eiya
A word from one of Himachal's many local dialects rooted in Nirmand, our home nestled in the Himalayas, where Eiya is what we call our mothers.

Cornerstone
The first stone laid in a foundation. The unglamorous, unseen base that stands through the winter.

Why the Name Eiya?
We named our foundation after all mothers - across every species, to whom we owe our very existence. It is our quiet homage to the power of creation, care, and the roots that hold us.

PRATHAM 2.0
Equipping Primary Health Centres Across the Mountains
Before raising funds, our founders contributed their own resources and funds to initiate PRATHAM (on-going initiative) at multiple Primary Health Centre located in Distt. Kullu. We are now raising funds for PRATHAM 2.0 to expand this model to more remote health centres across Himachal Pradesh.
